I think it’s safe to say that the past few years can be classed as the rise of influencer. Individuals now have the chance to market themselves to millions of people, pushing products and making a living from wherever they are in the world. One thing that I don’t think people saw coming is the rise of AI influencers. Lil Miquela is an AI model, she currently has 1.6 million followers and has collaborated with the likes of Prada for Milan Fashion Week. Shudu is the ‘world’s first digital supermodel’. This AI figure has featured on the cover of physical print magazines such as Hypebeast and even Vogue! This is where I’ll introduce Bermuda. An AI pop-princess, who is currently releasing absolute pop anthems. She’s released her new single ‘Under the Bridge’, a sort of remix of the famous Red Hot Chilli Peppers song!

At first I was skeptical of this concept. However, she has managed to prove me wrong and has produced a fresh and energetic version of the classic hit. The song comes in with the original introduction but is soon transformed into a pop bop. Bermuda has a sweet sounding tone, with subtle autotune complimenting this very nicely. The verses are dynamically calm, allowing the chorus to really expand, with a strong and epic commercial dance vibe to it. Genuinely, this song would not be out of place on the Radio One playlist. The outro is the standout section, with production, lyrical and atmospheric changes. The autotuned is ramped up, upping the energy and emotion behind the vocals. The rhythm of the drums develop into a commercial trap esq beat, making sure the song finishes strongly. Lyrically, Bermuda takes on a more freestyle approach to the outro, ad libbing ‘under the bridge’ while the song fades out.
