Absent Mind have dropped another huge release – this one comes from London duo fika and single ‘High’. Also known as Sam Hutton and Al Wreaves, fika draw on varied musical influences to carve out their unique sound.

The duo dropped their debut single ‘Wide Eyed’ last year before going on to release a further three to continue growing their audience.ǮHighǯ is a dreamy, romantic cut with easy, jazz-inspired melodies and soul-drenched vocals. Flickering guitar riffs and a fluid groove bring together each individual element with elegant sway, sweeping you along for the duration.

fika explain: ”High’ is a love song about when you’re together in your own little bubble, not thinking about anything or anyone else. The feeling of escaping when you switch everything off, except your attention to one another.”
