Out now on Wakaan, Hydraulix comes through with the ‘Space Cadet’ EP, spread across four tracks. ‘Skanka’ is one for the ravers on dancefloors – packing in explosive drops and atmospheric builds. He works alongside Krischvn on ‘Chopper,’ which has a gnarly intensity to it as it offers up a shattering bassline and epic switch-ups in pace. Explaining the collaboration, he says: “When Krischvn came out to Australia to support me on my last tour, we had some downtime and produced ‘Chopper’ in a matter of days, it was one of those times things just clicked!”

‘Madman’ pays homage to dubstep with a filthy, twisted melody and seriously heavy low-end blend, before Hydraulix lands ‘It’s Going Down’ with Leotrix. Chattering snatches of vocals and distorted riffs mean this track retains its relentless edge throughout.
