Scarlet Pleasure – Deja Vu
Copenhagen’s Scarlet Pleasure have re-emerged with a sleek and enticing new track called ‘Deja-Vu,’ following the release of their debut album Youth Is Wasted On the Young back in 2016.
Deja Vu’ starts off with a somewhat understated, organ-led groove, but then quickly builds into an urgent, bass-heavy jam that very fittingly ends with an actual round of applause. The velvet vocals of lead singer Emil Goll are in the same vein as the Weeknd, which makes sense considering the group is mining similar ’80s pop inspirations.
We’ve added the track to our RnB Daily Playlist so make sure you give it a listen below.
