Toothless – Sisyphus
Toothless (a.k.a Bombay Bicycle Club’s Ed Nash) is back with the expansive new single ‘Sisyphus’ and we just can’t get enough.
It’s been three years since Bombay released last album ‘So Long, See You Tomorrow’, and now the bassist is ready to go it alone, with his debut scheduled for release on January 27th.
Discussing his new single ‘Sisyphus’ , Toothless said in a statement: ”Sisyphus’ is a Greek myth about a man whose punishment is to roll a boulder up a hill every day only for it to roll back down. I wanted to write a song with this story as the basis, but for it to be about a relationship between two people, not an individual’s daily struggle.
This song is about always being there for someone no matter how many times they mess up, and no matter how inevitable it is that they will do it again.”
‘Sisyphus’ is taken from the debut album, ‘The Pace of the Passing’, released through Island Records on 27th January 2017. Give the track a listen below in our Indie Daily Playlist.
