Top Indie Tracks Of 2016

With the end of 2016 just around the corner we thought it would be time to give you a quick run down of the tracks that have been topping our most favourites in our Indie Daily Playlist. Let us know what you think of our top picks!
Spring King – City
Our favourite Manchester band have had one stella 2016! After gaining one solid and adoring fanbase (including ourselves) ‘City’ is one of the most loved songs taken from their debut album ‘Tell Me If You Like To’.
The Amazons – In My Mind
The Amazons have come a long way in a year topping numerous ones to watch lists for 2017. In My Mind’ shows a heavier and darker side to the band with a huge chorus and screeching riffs – a sound that we can expect to hear more of from their forthcoming debut album.
Dead! – Something More Original
The punk rock four piece have been taking the country by storm over the past few months with a stack of raucous anthems and a gung-ho, do-or-die attitude. Something More Original’ was a huge leap forward and cemented Dead! as a band set for huge things next year.
Bastille – Good Grief
The comeback single from Dan Smith and co was brilliantly subversive: a cheery pop song about coping with death. One of many great tracks from the band’s huge new album ‘Wild World’.
The 1975 – The Sound
The 1975 managed to perfectly nail the sound of 2016 with single ‘The Sound’ taken from sophomore album I Like It When You Sleep for You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware of It. Impossible to shake out of your head once heard!!
