On Friday, August 16, Young Thug released his latest album “So Much Fun.” This latest project from the Atlanta native comes as his seventh studio album, after 2017’s “Super Slimey” collaboration with Future (who features on the new project) and a slew of collaborations with YSL label mate and mentee Gunna.

The hour-long project features a host of established artists, ranging from 2015 XXL Freshmen Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage to multi-platinum Travis Scott and veteran J. Cole. This, in part, helped him take pole position on the Rolling Stones 200, “amassing more than twice as many album- equivalent units as the runner-up, Quality Control’s Control of the Streets Vol. 2” according to the magazine. According to Forbes, he also sits comfortably atop the Billboard 200, with 11 entries in the Hot 100 songs, a feat reserved only for the most prominent artists of the time.
